NoChar E112 is an environmentally friendly concentrate
which creates a spray-on gel that will minimize
either direct or radiant heat transfer to adjoining
surfaces (MSDS available). E112 can help in extinguishing
Class A type fires, and produces a longer lasting
coating which reduces the possibility of spontaneous
combustion or rekindle.
E112
can be utilized in structural fires and fire breaks
to enhance the firefighters' ability to slow the
fire by reducing the thermal transfer of heat
from one area to another. E112 can be educted
through most systems at 3% feed. An experiment
was performed by the Building and Fire Research
Laboratory using our E112 in a vinyl siding test.
This test demonstrated that E112 when applied
to combustible exterior siding, reduces the likelihood
of ignition and flame spread.
A
special feature of E112 is its ability to be applied
to any surface. It can be used on vertical surfaces,
horizontal floor and ceiling or pitched roof surfaces
or adjoining landscaping. The use of E112 will reduce
the amount of water needed to fight a fire. E112
is water-soluble and can be washed off with fresh
water for cleaning.

P215 is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly
paste used as a heat transfer barrier on all types
of surfaces, vertical or horizontal. P215 will
minimize direct or radiant heat transfer to adjoining
surfaces (MSDS available).
Plumbers,
welders or anyone using a torch can benefit from
NoChar's P215 heat barrier paste. Asbestos free
P215 can be used on natural or synthetic surfaces
adjoining the welding or soldering areas such
as PVC drains, wood trim, plastic or vinyl cabinets.
Heat sensitive surfaces can be temporarily coated
during the soldering process and then easily cleaned
by wiping the P215 off. P215 is water-soluble
and therefore can be removed with just a damp
cloth.

Enormous
responsibilities lay in containment and disposal
of hazardous materials. Concerns are with environmental
issues, as well as money,
time, storage and disposal costs. The products
most often used contain kitty litter, peat moss,
saw dust and even feathers that leach out
once the waste is contained. And then the additional
volumetric increase in contaminated material has
to be stored before shipping to a
very costly hazardous waste landfill.
Move
into the next decade with a better solution -
NoChar's A600 series products.
NoChar's
A600 series products are environmentally friendly,
fast acting, efficient, cost effective products
that meet the tough EPA
standards for hazardous spill control and disposal.
NoChar's Spill Response Technology (S.R.T.) is
designed for use by hazardous
material or emergency response teams as a first
step, immediate response to spills. NoChar's S.R.T.
includes state-of-the-art third
generation polymer technology which bonds spills
into a solidified mass. Wherever safe, quick and
efficient response for containment of
oil, chemical or bodily fluid spill is necessary,
NoChar products are the material of choice.

Estimates,
comparisons and cost analyses of NoChar's Environmental
Protection Products are available on request.
Pick-up ratios are
determined by volume and time. Laboratory test
results on bonding ratios are calculated to be
conservative and attainable on a regular
basis.
NoChar's
A600 series products have also been approved for
incineration and/or an alternate fuel source and
are currently the only one
that meets the EPA ruling on landfill disposal
(see below). NoChar's products do not leach out
once they have been bonded to the spill.
54452 Federal Register/ Vol. 57. No.223/ Wednesday,
November 18, 1992/ Rules and Regulations
Hazardous Waste Management; Liquids in Landfills
Agency: Environmental Protection Agency.
Action:
Final
Summary:
Under authority of the Resource Conservation and
Recovery Act (RCRA) as amended by the Hazardous
and Solid Waste Amendments of 1984 (HSWA), EPA
is promulgating this final rule regarding the
landfill disposal of containerized liquids mixed
with sorbents. This rule satisfies the statutory
requirement that EPA issue a rule that prohibits
the disposal in hazardous waste landfills of liquids
that have been sorbed in materials that biodegrade
or that release liquids when compressed as might
occur during routine landfill operations. This
rule will help insure the stability of materials
in hazardous waste landfills.
